A bit dejected of sorts right now.. feeling really motivated to fly, but I’m not getting any flights – and I’m pointedly unmotivated to be doing any of the other things I ought to be doing (printing, snail mailing, studying, errands, cleaning, seeing people). Not sure why. Utter laziness?? I volunteered to work on my off days for today and tomorrow but they won’t call. I don’t quite understand what’s going on – because we’re only increasing flight frequency and destinations, we’re not recruiting, and it’s summertime now.. this time last year nearly all the flights were packed to capacity or overbooked. Another crew said on Facebook all will be back to normal come September, which does make sense actually, with all the operational changes going on right now.

Did a spot of shopping today for things I’ve been needing for a long time, like Ray Ban sunglasses, and a pair of decent running shoes. Hopefully now that I’m not wearing trainers I won’t end up with a sprained knee and/or ankle. I despise malls, yeuch. Figured since the sales are on I may as well buy here rather than wait until Jakarta on Thursday. Speaking of, Ann invited me to Dubai that same night, and I really want to go! But.. I know I should work, bah, lame. I’m contradicting myself, I know.
